PJ Hirons works with the UK leading Hydrologists to ensure we find a suitable water supply to meet your needs.
In many cases the water is safe but we always test the supply and we recommend that you also install sterilisation and purification systems.
Anyone is allowed to extract up to 20,000 litres per day without a licence. If you require a greater volume of water, you will need an Abstraction Permit from the Environment Agency.
Each installation is different, due to different ground conditions, usually we find water around 45-65metres but our largest rig can drill to a maximum of 200 meters.
